SUNRISE, Fla. - Many organizations assisting Hurricane Katrinavictims are in still in desperate need of cash donations andBrightStar CU has stepped up to the plate. The $265 million creditunion said it will match donations up to $10,000 made at any oftheir six branches. BrightStar has already made a $5,000 donationto the American Red Cross. Members of the credit union can alsotransfer a donation from their account to the fund through itsMember Service Center. According to BrightStar, 100% of the moneycollected will go to the American Red Cross' Hurricane 2005 Relieffund.
