PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Resources Group has hired an IT veteran from Washington State Employees Credit Union to join the tech CUSO's new Northwest office in Portland, Ore. James Burke-Frazier was assistant vice president of IT at $1.1 billion WSECU, where he managed software projects and development along with the credit union's Symitar core system. He has held Symitar programming manager operations at five other credit unions as well. "All of our clients, as well as our potential clients, will benefit from James' expertise with technology, especially in dealing with Symitar's Episys system," says Kevin Sarber, president of Wescom Resources Group (www.wescomresources.com), part of $3.1 billion Wescom Credit Union. WRG now has offices in California, Oregon, Colorado, and Florida, the latter of which has six WRG developers to support East Coast clients of the tech CUSO, whose products include hosted Symitar core processing, ATM and item processing, disaster recovery services, home banking, automated lending and bill pay.
