BOSTON - Online, automatic debits and phone payments areincreasingly the method of choice for paying bills in America,according to a new report from Celent Communications. The firm'sresearch also shows that checks continue to decline in use, andanalysts there say that increasingly tight integration of IVRtelephone systems with core processing systems promises to spurdramatic growth in that payment channel. These two chartsillustrate the research and advisory firm's findings.
