JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Sergeant Major Ron Himsworth, representing the Commanding General of 2d Marine Division, has presented the Marine FCU board of directors with an American Flag that was flown over the 2d Marine Division Headquarters, Camp Blue Diamond, Ar Ramadi, Iraq during combat operations on the 4th of July, 2005. In his comments to the board, Sgt. Maj Himsworth stated it was done to show appreciation to Marine FCU for its superb support of the Marines, Sailors, and family members of the 2d Marine Division. He added that in his 28 years of service, he has never encountered a financial institution that provides the caliber of service he has received and observed from the staff at Marine FCU, and that the credit union's support has made it possible for his Marines and Sailors to concentrate on their mission without worrying about their families and personal finances.
