BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Core processor EPL Inc. is now offering its owner-clients the TopNotch collection system from the Guthrie Phillips Group (GPG). The two organizations also have partnered to offer the browser-based solution for the first time as an ASP rather than in-house system, eliminating the cost of server and PC infrastructure. The ASP version of TopNotch also will be available to credit unions regardless of core processor. “EPL is in a new position to offer business solutions to credit unions that they don't have access to otherwise,” says Todd Proulx, vice president of business development for EPL (www.eplinc.com), an Alabama-based provider of electronic services to hundreds of credit unions nationwide. The Guthrie Phillips Group (www.guthriephillipsgroup.com) is based in Vancouver, B.C., and has been providing specialized support applications, such as collections software and charged-off loan recovery, to credit unions and other financial institutions for more than 15 years.
