LENEXA, Kan. – Some believe the fate of U.S. Central and the three-tiered system are in the hands of the next U.S. Central CU CEO. That thinking may be too dramatic for some, but nonetheless almost all corporates agree this is a critical juncture in U.S. Central’s history. Listed below is the current makeup of the U.S. Central Board, and as the asset sizes show, all size corporates are well represented, including two under a billion in assets, three under $2.5 billion, and two large corporates in $4.9 billion Mid-States and $4.6 billion Empire. Asset sizes are as of NCUA’s April data.
