OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. – Interactive self-service delivery specialist Maxxar is now a member of the Apropos Technology Alliance Partner program. The Open Solutions Inc. business unit now will be combining its speech-enabled solutions with the multi-channel communications management tools from Apropos, the companies say. Maxxar's Total Natural Transaction (TNT) system includes natural-language speech recognition, speech-enabled lending, text-to-speech and touchtone IVR. It will be integrated with the Apropos Multi-Channel Interaction Management suite, which includes support for e-mail, Web chat and other remote channels. Bob Chencinski, Maxxar senior vice president, says the combination will allow credit unions and banks to reduce the number of transactions that require additional assistance from customer- and member-service representatives.
