DUBUQUE, Iowa – State and federal regulators have approved the merger of Community Plus CU, Ceder Rapids into Dupaco Community CU. The merger is expected to be completed by Dec. 31. The merger, which was already approved by Community Plus’ nearly 4,300 members, will add $26.5 million in assets to Dupaco’s already more than $350 million in assets and nearly 40,000 members. The merger is expected to strengthen Dupaco’s visibility in eastern Iowa as well as its position as the state’s fifth largest CU.
