MADISON, Wis. – CUES has recently named Paul Gibler vice president of professional development. “Gibler’s strong education and association background makes him the perfect fit for this position. His knowledge and experience in the credit union industry will be a great asset to CUES and our members. We are excited to have him be a part of the CUES team,” said Gary W. Irvin, CUES board chairman and FORUM CU president/CEO. Since 1999, Gibler has led his own consulting firm, ConnectingDots, a strategic marketing consulting and training company with a focus on Internet marketing. In 2003, he spoke at CUES Annual Convention: Marketing and Technology for Credit Union Directors and the CUES Marketing, Operations and Technology Conference–currently known as the CUES Nexus Conference. No stranger to the credit union movement, Gibler has written articles for industry publications such as CUNA’s Credit Union Executive, has been a regular lecturer at the Universities of Wisconsin and even worked in marketing at CUNA Mutual Group. Gibler holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in marketing and accounting from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
