CINCINNATI - Design/build firm DEI Incorporated has picked up anaward for "Commercial Design Under 3,500 Square Feet" in CincinnatiMagazine's 3rd Annual Interior Design Competition. Thirty-oneinterior design projects received top honors. Cincinnati Magazine'sinterior design competition honors outstanding and innovativeresidential and commercial interior design in Cincinnati, Daytonand Northern Kentucky. Competition winners will be featured in the"Home & Garden" section of Cincinnati Magazine's November 2005issue. The DEI design team was recognized for its combined effortsto create the design for the ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oakridge,Tennessee. Ceilings, walls and corners are utilized to include thecredit union's full range of services. Neon, acrylic signage,crop-circle floor patterns, brilliant colors, and scientificelements give the credit union both a warm and high-techappearance. Judges described the design as "well-planned andexecuted" and applauded the "friendly, warm, fun graphics."
