Delta Employees Credit Union, Atlanta, Ga., has broken ground on its fifth Atlanta branch. The new branch is slated to open in the fall of 2005 in the Summit Point Shopping. Atlanta based design/build firm Level 5 has been tapped to develop and implement a complete branding and retail delivery strategy. Three additional Georgia branches are slated to open in Fayette and Henry counties in 2006. North Jersey Federal Credit Union, Totowa, N.J., has opened a new Patterson branch. The new downtown facility is designed to help build the image of member convenience. Pan Am Horizons Federal Credit Union, Homestead, Fla., has hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Florida City banking center. As part of the grand opening celebration the credit union hosted a family fun day complete with games, prizes and refreshments. NuMark Credit Union, Joliet, Ill., has broken ground on its third full-service branch. The single-story, freestanding 6,000 square-foot building will have a brick and stone exterior, three drive-up lanes, and a 24-hour ATM machine. The new branch will feature a two-story atrium and will offer such amenities as a fireplace and a member refreshment area. The credit union’s mortgage lending department will also be housed at the new location to compliment the full-service and bi-lingual staff. AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union, Burbank, Calif., has opened its newest branch in Sherman Oaks, California. The location was chosen after extensive research to determine what would be most convenient to the greatest number of members. This location is central to where most members live and work.
