After two years away from the credit union, I am enjoying the change of pace. Currently I am president of our condo association and working feverishly on a restoration program since two hurricanes hit our 52 beachside units last September. My 40-plus years of management experience prepared me well for the task. I have never worked so hard as a volunteer. The purpose of this letter is I've been following the latest controversial news articles in Credit Union Times and I just wanted to say it continues to be the best credit union publication in the movement/industry. I appreciate Mike Welch's willingness to continue to speak his mind by writing what he really feels even though it's often considered unpopular.
