DENVER – Aimbridge Indirect Lending, one of three divisions of the Aimbridge Group, has decided to expand the management of its dealer network through strategic partnerships in specific geographic areas. The first of these partnerships will be with Great Lakes Company, a leading provider of credit services in Michigan. The company works with more than 500 dealerships in the state and has been providing insurance products to the Michigan auto market for more than 20 years. According to the terms of the partnership, Great Lakes will assume assigned automotive dealer relationships on behalf of Aimbridge in the Michigan market. The company will assist Aimbridge in managing sales and service activities with the dealer. Aimbridge in turn will manage the relationship with Great Lakes on half of CUs. Great Lakes has also announced it will be introducing the first lender-sponsored debt cancellation program at the indirect loan level. Aimbridge SVP of Sales Chris Truelson said, "Deeper relationships with dealers ensure better service and loans for our credit unions. This gives our credit union customers the needed dealer reach and touch in our Michigan market." In addition to Michigan, Aimbridge is in 15 markets throughout the U.S. In addition to Aimbridge Indirect Lending, the other two divisions of the Aimbridge Group include, Aimbridge Financial Service and Aimbridge Disposition Services.
