MANCHESTER, N.H. -Commercials produced for St. Mary's Bank for its two Mortgage Centers have won the $542.6 million CU two bronze Telly Awards. The two Mortgage Center commercials that were produced for St. Mary's by Creative Co-op, Portsmouth, N.H., hit cable TV markets in Manchester, Nashua and Concord and statewide on network stations WMUR and WNDS for 13 weeks starting last April. The winning spots communicated the Mortgage Center's low closing costs and competitive rates, and one TV spot used humor to illustrate the value St. Mary's provides. The other spot focused on the ease of applying for a mortgage and the choices available to consumers - online, by phone or in person. According to the Telly Awards Web site, the awards recognize and honor "outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions." Last year, the Telly Awards received over 10,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. A panel of judges, comprised of winners of previous Telly Awards, reviewed entries against a standard of excellence to determine which companies would be selected as winners.
