MANCHESTER, N.H. -Commercials produced for St. Mary's Bank forits two Mortgage Centers have won the $542.6 million CU two bronzeTelly Awards. The two Mortgage Center commercials that wereproduced for St. Mary's by Creative Co-op, Portsmouth, N.H., hitcable TV markets in Manchester, Nashua and Concord and statewide onnetwork stations WMUR and WNDS for 13 weeks starting last April.The winning spots communicated the Mortgage Center's low closingcosts and competitive rates, and one TV spot used humor toillustrate the value St. Mary's provides. The other spot focused onthe ease of applying for a mortgage and the choices available toconsumers - online, by phone or in person. According to the TellyAwards Web site, the awards recognize and honor "outstanding local,regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well asthe finest video and film productions." Last year, the Telly Awardsreceived over 10,000 entries from all 50 states and fivecontinents. A panel of judges, comprised of winners of previousTelly Awards, reviewed entries against a standard of excellence todetermine which companies would be selected as winners.
