TUKWILA, Wash. - Annie Cheney, a Member Advocate with Prime Alliance Real Estate Services was recently awarded the Seniors Real Estate SpecialistT (SRES) professional designation by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council in Murphys, Calif. SRES helps seniors make smart decisions on real estate and property ownership-related issues such as selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtaining a reverse mortgage, moving to a senior community, and other issues. By earning the SRES designation, Cheney has demonstrated she has the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to be a seniors real estate specialist. The Senior Advantage Real Estate CouncilT (SAREC) tracks the special issues and needs of senior property owners and provides education to those organizations that focus on seniors' needs. The SRES designation was introduced in 1997 and is nationally recognized.
