Mid-Atlantic FCU Supports the Arts

GERMANTOWN, Md. – Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union has recently sponsored one of the 2005 Free Summer Concerts conducted by the Black Rock Center for the Arts here. Several staffers (pictured above) volunteered to distribute literature about the money saving products and services the credit union offers as well as balloons and toys to kids in the audience. This marks the second year MAFCU has participated in this event and through this event the credit union was able to support Black Rock in promoting education and enjoyment of the arts in the community. The Black Rock Center for the Arts provides quality performing, visual, and arts education programs for the benefit of Germantown citizens and the surrounding areas. The flourishing art center serves as an arts resource for the community by engaging citizens in the arts through performances, education programs and through community participation in its facilities.
