HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies’ newest software offering is a middleware module that connects the Symitar loan origination system to a familiar face at credit unions across the country: CUNA Mutual’s loanliner.com online loan processing system. The integration software enables seamless connectivity between Symitar’s flagship Episys platform, the core processor’s LOS and the popular CUNA Mutual product, allowing increased automation, eliminating manual errors and increasing loan production volume, the two organizations say. “Many of the bigger credit unions wouldn’t consider purchasing our product without eCU’s module, which adds so much efficiency to the lending process. This interface makes our product much more attractive to those large credit unions because they also demand so much customization, where the flexible interface helps tremendously,” says Cathy Harper, connectivity consultant for CUNA Mutual. eCU Technologies (www.ecutechnologies.com) is the tech CUSO of $2.5 billion Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union. Services and software include home banking solutions, e-statements, the UPost online honor deposit system, online lending services, automated bill payment systems, kiosk machines and consulting services.
