LAS VEGAS - Teres Solutions (www.teresolutions.com) has addedhome equity loan origination support to its SAIL Direct Lendingsoftware platform. The Austin, Texas, based company has more than30 credit unions on its Software Application for Integrated Lending(SAIL) indirect lending platform and recently began offering thedirect lending option, which integrates with loanliner.com and anumber of major core processing platforms for 7/24 onlineapplications for direct loans on vehicles, boats, credit card andpersonal lines, the company says. The new home equity support nowautomates that product, as well, including compliance controls andreports, risk analysis, workflow and performance monitoring, thecompany says. An initial user, Pierre Cardenas, vice president at$367 million IBM Texas Employees Federal Credit Union(www.ibmtefcu.org), says, "By ensuring we have the necessarycompliance information available at the touch of a button whentaking and processing the application, we're able to streamline theprocess by simplifying and incorporating the product into oureveryday application processing." Teres announced the upgrade atthe NAFCU convention in Las Vegas.
