MELBOURNE, Fla. - Space Coast Credit Union is converting to the Corillian Consumer Banking platform to serve the online needs of its more than 132,000 members, the $1.3 billion CU says. Space Coast also will deploy bill pay, integrated self-service functions and Corillian Family Banking, which allows members to grant secure access to family members, joint account holders and other third parties. Such flexibility has been reserved only for small business owners or financial controllers of large corporations, according to Portland, Ore.-based Corillian. Timothy M. Antonition, executive vice president, retail operations of Space Coast Credit Union, says, "This is an important step in establishing a solid foundation for our online banking service, as we look to add new features and functionality for our members to access at anytime." Space Coast has been using Certegy for online banking and bill pay, according to the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
