MELBOURNE, Fla. - Space Coast Credit Union is converting to theCorillian Consumer Banking platform to serve the online needs ofits more than 132,000 members, the $1.3 billion CU says. SpaceCoast also will deploy bill pay, integrated self-service functionsand Corillian Family Banking, which allows members to grant secureaccess to family members, joint account holders and other thirdparties. Such flexibility has been reserved only for small businessowners or financial controllers of large corporations, according toPortland, Ore.-based Corillian. Timothy M. Antonition, executivevice president, retail operations of Space Coast Credit Union,says, "This is an important step in establishing a solid foundationfor our online banking service, as we look to add new features andfunctionality for our members to access at anytime." Space Coasthas been using Certegy for online banking and bill pay, accordingto the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan &Associates.
