PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton eCom has partnered with a payments application specialist to offer a secure way for consumers to pay bills directly from e-mail. The New Jersey-based bill pay specialist will be using the Striata eBilling Suite, which with two clicks from an e-mail, securely posts payment transaction data (credit/debit cards or ACH) to Princeton eCom's system, which then processes the payment in real time and deliver a confirmation message, the company says. The new system is faster and more convenient than the current method of providing text alerts with an embedded link directing the recipient to a Web site where an online payment can be made, according Princeton eCom (www.princetonecom.com.) Princeton eCom currently processes more than $2 billion in payments per month for more than 1,400 banks and credit unions and 200 billers. New York-based Striata (www.striata.com) has been a provider of electronic messaging software and services since 1999.
