PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton eCom has partnered with a paymentsapplication specialist to offer a secure way for consumers to paybills directly from e-mail. The New Jersey-based bill payspecialist will be using the Striata eBilling Suite, which with twoclicks from an e-mail, securely posts payment transaction data(credit/debit cards or ACH) to Princeton eCom's system, which thenprocesses the payment in real time and deliver a confirmationmessage, the company says. The new system is faster and moreconvenient than the current method of providing text alerts with anembedded link directing the recipient to a Web site where an onlinepayment can be made, according Princeton eCom(www.princetonecom.com.) Princeton eCom currently processes morethan $2 billion in payments per month for more than 1,400 banks andcredit unions and 200 billers. New York-based Striata(www.striata.com) has been a provider of electronic messagingsoftware and services since 1999.
