DEL MAR, Calif. – Robert Egger, chairman of the supervisory committee of Security Service FCU was honored with the 2005 Golden Service Award from the National Association of Credit Union Supervisory and Auditing Committees. Egger was presented with his award during the opening session of the association's recently held 2005 Annual Conference & Exposition in San Diego. The recognition is given to a supervisory or auditing committee member who stands out as an example of the significant contribution a volunteer can make to their credit union. Egger has been on the committee for 15 years and its chairman for the past seven years. He was one of two recipients of awards from NACUSAC. The second award – NACUSAC's 2005 Associate Member of the Year – was presented to Richards & Associates, the second largest credit union auditing firm in California. The company was selected based on its dedication and professionalism in working with credit unions.
