CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The winds of change have blown through Wyoming Employees Federal Credit Union. Effective July 1, the $138 million credit union is now Meridian Trust FCU. A money ribbon donation ceremony to The Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free Foundation representative First Lady Nancy Freudenthal kicked off the credit union’s new identity. “Meridian Trust was founded by State employees over 50 years ago,” said President/CEO Kim Withers. “We wanted to mark our name change by giving to an organization that signifies the State’s commitment to making a difference for our families..” The Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free Foundation is a public not-for-profit foundation of current and former Governors’ Spouses and their representatives. It is a national philanthropy dedicated to promoting the health, well-being and potential of the Nation’s youth by preventing alcohol use among children.
