VIENNA, Va. – Navy Federal Credit Union plans to deploy Demos Solutions' StaffSmart Enterprise workforce management software across the big CU's network of 106 member service centers. Navy, the world's largest credit union at $24 billion in assets, will be joining a roster of about 40 clients for the Norwell, Mass., firm, including banking giant Wachovia and three credit unions, one of them $1.9 billion Hudson Valley FCU in New York. Demos Solutions (www.demossolutions.com) provides forecasting and scheduling software now in use at more than 15,000 branches, representing about 33% of the Top 100 banks' branches in the country, the company says. Gale Lewis, assistant vice president of field operations at Navy FCU (www.navyfederal.org), cited "software features and Demos Solutions' partnership-style interaction" for the decision to use that company's workforce management tools. Deployment of StaffSmart Enterprise throughout Navy Federal's worldwide network is scheduled for completion in the fall.
