RLBOROUGH, Mass. – Digital Federal Credit Union’s 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised a record $225,000 for the Boomer Esiason Foundation. The Foundation works to heighten education and awareness of cystic fibrosis and to provide a better quality of life for those affected by it. The event drew over 125 golfers, and Boomer Esiason, a veteran quarterback of 14 years with the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals and football commentator was on hand at the tournament. Esiason has become a leading national figure in the fight against cystic fibrosis. “I’d like to thank the great folks at DCU for championing this event, which will raise funds for our foundation as we continue to battle cystic fibrosis,” said Esiason.
