RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees Credit Union is finding its statewide branch network is a real boon to aiding an employee association sell theme park tickets. “We have been doing this as a convenient retail service and the sales have really taken off this year,” said Leigh Brady, senior vice president of education services. In two months, $241,000 in tickets were sold at State Employees' 185 branches compared to $700,000 sold for all of last year. “At this rate, we should top $1 million, ” forecast Brady. Members can buy discounted tickets for a variety of amusement parks in North Carolina as well as in Myrtle Beach, S. C.
