Their addition brings the cosponsor count to 61, according to the U.S. House Representatives. Counting Congressman Ed Royce (R-Calif.), the originator of the bill, that brings the total supporters to 62. The new supporters, all Democrats, are Robert Andrews, (N.J.), Raul Grijalva, (Ariz.), Alcee Hastings, (Fla.) Jesse Jackson Jr., (Ill.), Gregory Meeks, (N.Y.) Juanita Millender-McDonald, (Calif.), Donald Payne, (N.J.), Steven Rothman, (N.J.), Loretta Sanchez, (Calif.), and Maxine Waters, (Calif.) NAFCU has noted that CURIA has gained almost as many supporters in its first six weeks of being introduced as it had in the last Congress.
