INDIAN WELL, Calif. – Prime Alliance Solutions used its recently held third annual Symposium here as the backdrop for the announcement of its third Annual Mortgage Artists of the Year Award. The awards are given to five PA customers each year. One award each is based on asset size – less than $300 million, $300 million to $1 billion, and over $1 billion. The winners in those categories were, respectively: * AEA CU, Arizona, for outstanding year-over-year growth and its efforts in affordable housing * WEOKIE CU, Oklahoma, for its all-channel approach to mortgage lending * Mission FCU, Calif. for its innovative use of lending and member service technologies. In addition, a separate award went to CU Members Mortgage, Texas, for their long-term service to their credit union customer. Prime Alliance Solution's Best in Family Award was presented to the PA customer that has taken its mortgage business to new levels within the preceeding year. This year's award went to $230 million Chetco FCU, Ore. for its purchase-money lending results. "Five (Prime Alliance) customers each year achieve mastery, and this is our way of recognizing them. Pointing out their special qualities helps us all learn from them," said PA President/CEO Joe Brancucci.
