INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana credit unions went high-tech to raise money for the Credit Unions for Kids of Indiana. An eBay auction that ran in three separate sessions and offering 164 items – from digital cameras and iPods to sports tickets and dining offers – attracted enough bids to raise the $13,000. Some 47 Indiana CUs, their vendors, and friends contributed to the auction put together by the Indiana CU League. This is the third year the auction has been held. Proceeds are going to the Riley Hospital for Children, a hospital that cares for the state's youngest and sickest children. Indiana credit unions have supported the hospital for several years through Credit Unions for Kids.
