WICHITA, Kan. – Boeing Wichita Credit Union is launching its own version of Survivor for kids this summer. The over $400 million credit union will be hosting its first ever "Financial Survival Camp" June 21-22 and July 26-27, 2005 at Eberly Farm in West Wichita. Specifically for students entering seventh and eighth grade, the survivor camp, which will run from 9 am to 3 pm, combines food, financial training and fun to help kids avoid financial pitfalls. The sessions are designed to provide kids the tools they'll need to outwit, outlast and outplay those who would take advantage of them. "Credit unions have always played an active role in educating its members. BWCU is dedicated to providing free financial education to members and non-members of all ages," said BWCU Vice President Sales/Chief Lending Officer Chuck Bullock.
