DENVER -Bellco Credit Union's 12 branches in the Denver Metro area recently received a high-tech makeover with new state of the art digital signage. Bellco contracted with Lakeland, Fla.-based Audio Visual Innovations to replace traditional backlit and standing posters with vibrant moving images in their branches. The new system includes a combination of kiosks and wall mounted displays. The displays incorporate either a 40″ Bobcat LCD Panel or a 50″ Margay rear projection display. Clarity's Bobcat display utilizes an LCD panel and offers the highest resolution available, including the ability to accept inputs from VGA (640×480), up to WXGA (1280×768) resolution. The Clarity Margay is a 50″ rear-projection display that combines direct-view and rear-projection technology. It uses DLPT technology to deliver high color performance in a high definition format that is ideal for creating large signage and video walls, according to AVI. The displays receive feeds from designated servers. Each branch has a server that is networked with the main content delivery server at the corporate office. Updates are made over the network and delivered to the branch servers instantaneously.
