CHICAGO – BAI has named Deborah L. Bianucci as its new president and CEO, replacing Thomas P. Johnson, Jr., who last year announced plans to retire. Bianucci, 48, was serving as BAI's executive director of marketing and sales prior to her promotion. Bianucci has been with BAI since 1985 and has a marketing/journalism background. BAI also named James McNeil, 47, to the newly created position of chief operating officer. BAI, once known as Bank Administrative Institute, is a provider of research, training and education in the financial services arena. It's not just for bankers any more, part of the reason it changed its moniker to just BAI. BAI has 30 CU members, including a number of billion dollar CUs. Its Retail Delivery Conference steadily attracts more CU attendees each year and is one of the most popular technology events in the financial services arena.
