LIVE OAK, Texas – Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union has recently donated funds to Randolph AFB Services Combat Support and Community Service Division, also known as 12th Services Division. Through the Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN) 2005 Matching Grant Program, AFFN matched Randolph-Brooks' donation for a combined contribution of $3,500. “We are pleased to accept the donation,” said Terrye Heagerty, Director of the12th Services Division. “Support from Randolph-Brooks and AFFN allows us to offer more activities for our families and helps make our event special.” The 12th Services Division provides programs including the 2005 FAM-A-GANZA, 4th of July Celebration, Bi-Annual Air Show, and other activities that support soldiers and their families. During war, the 12th Services Division delivers items such as food and provides lodging to soldiers in deployed areas. Since 1985, AFFN continues to serve the military community by providing ATM and point-of-sale terminals near military installations throughout the United States. AFFN's mission is to increase the versatility of participating financial institutions to better serve the U.S. Military. AFFN currently supports more than 336 Military Banks and Defense Credit Unions, with more than 90 million cardholders, providing access to over 136,000 ATMs and more than one million merchant locations worldwide.
