ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio University CU says its new partnership with myCUmortgage will take its first mortgage offerings to a new level by providing the CU's approximately 20,000 members with "effortless" mortgage solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, myCUmortgage will provide the service and state-of-the-art technology that will make all that possible for OUCU and its members who will be able to apply in person with credit union staff or online 24/7 using the secured Internet application and receive almost immediate loan decisions. Ohio University CU VP of Lending and Member Services Bob Cowie said the credit union plans to host an event to demo the system for realtors in the Athens community. They're extremely excited that we will be able to offer this level of service to them and our members, he said. MyCUmortgage is a division of Wright-Patt CU's wholly-owned CUSO. It currently has partnerships with 27 Ohio CUs with a total of more than 188,000 members and $859 million in assets.
