OAKLAND, Calif. – The 18,000 members of Kaiperm Federal Credit Union can now more easily find the 25,000 ATM, branch and service center locations at their disposal. The $148 million CU is using a search engine from LocatorSearch LLC of Harrison, N.Y., to allow its members to find the locations from its Web site at www.kaipermfcu.org. The aggregated search engine allows members to find the ATM, branch and service within a five- to 50-mile radius, so they can find a non-surcharge ATM, for example, in their area. "Our focus in on making life for our members in the Bay Area as easy as possible," says Brad Leimer, Kaiperm FCU's vice president of marketing. "And this service makes the most sense for them even if they want to find an ATM in Paris, France." LocatorSearch LLC (www.locatorsearch.com) provides locations of ATM, shred branches and service centers for a variety of networks, including STAR, Cirrus, CO-OP, NYCE, Cash Station and Allpoint. Prior to deploying LocatorSearch, Kaiperm FCU staff and members had to access five different ATM network databases, so the service also keeps members at the credit union's Web site. "Not only can members use it at their convenience," says Karl Kraus, president of LocatorSearch," the credit union's staff can use it as well while opening a new account or on the phone in the call center."
