PEWAUKEE, Wis. – After a year's work, the Wisconsin Credit Union League has a new look and logo designed to convey a strong brand identity for the League, its affiliated organizations and member credit unions. The new logo was unveiled at the League's Annual Meeting & Convention that was held May 12-14 in Green Bay. The League says “our new brand will play an important role in uniting Wisconsin credit unions in some new and exciting public relations and political advocacy efforts.” In designing the new logo, the Wisconsin League said it wanted an image that would clearly distinguish the League and its affiliates from other organizations in the credit union system. In the past, the League said it was often confused with other credit union-related organizations. In choosing the new design, WCUL selected a design that emphasized the words “'The League', since that's how most credit unions, lawmakers and others know us. The simple mix of typefaces reflects our strong, solid history. In addition, the ” `the C and U shapes encircling the state of Wisconsin' reflect the strong presence and vitality of credit unions in our state.” The Wisconsin League says the most important feature of its new logo is the tag line: “ One League, One Focus – Your Success!”. It conveys the need for all Wisconsin credit unions to unite with the League whose core purpose is to help all CUs grow and prosper, the League said.
