Based on the volume of letters to the editor received and printed in every issue of Credit Union Times, there is no doubt that the growing number of paid subscribers are closely reading this publication. So far this year every issue has carried one or more letters to the editor, sometimes as many as an entire page of letters. By contrast, other credit union publications only occasionally run a letter. The number of letters is gratifying, but more important letters to the editor demonstrate that readers have strong opinions that they are not afraid to express, but also that they feel passionately about all things credit unions. What also makes this publication's letters different is that only Credit Union Times includes a color mug shot of the letter writer to further ID who's making important comments.
