NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – CUcorp, the Michigan Credit UnionLeague's service corporation, recently finalized an agreement withThe Staver Group, that gives affiliated CUs access to leading-edgeexecutive development services at a reduced rate. The Staver Groupis a Florida-based international motivational speaking, publishingand consulting firm. Under the agreement, credit unions can choosefrom among three key executive development program services: TheLeadership & Organizational Development Institute, aprofessional education program designed for CU executives; HarrisonAssessment, an assessment program for identifying potentialcandidates for high-level positions; and the Values IntegrationProcess, a service that integrates the CU's values and keyorganizational behaviors with its senior leadership's direction andfocus. CUcorp Executive Vice President Drew Egan said having accessto the tools from The Staver Group is crucial for CUs because “intoday's highly competitive, fast-paced marketplace, and with creditunions under heavy fire from the banking lobby, it's essential thatcredit unions have well-trained and visionary executiveleadership.”
