LIVE OAK, Texas – Two more credit unions in Texas – the $20 million Baptist FCU, headquartered in San Antonio, and the $1.4 billion Texans Credit Union, headquartered in Richardson – have signed agreements with the $2.2 billion Randolph Brooks Credit Union to share ATM services. According to the agreements, members of Baptist and Texans can use Randolph Brooks ATMs surcharge-free and Randolph Brooks members can use ATMs from each of these credit unions surcharge-free. The agreement between Baptist and Randolph Brooks will give a total of 236,000 members access to 50 ATMs and the agreement between Texans and Randolph Brooks will open a total of 80 ATMs to 386,000 members. Surcharge-free ATM agreements between Texas credit unions have been on the upswing over the last year. “We appreciate Randolph-Brooks’ willingness to enter into this agreement to ultimately benefit the members of both credit unions,” said Glen Shell, Baptist Credit Union President. “This is just another great example of the cooperative nature of credit unions. We live in a convenience-driven society. This agreement provides the members of both credit unions with greater convenience when they need to access their accounts,” added Shell.
