NAFCU Selects Annual Awards Winners

ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU will recognize the winners of its annual awards competition during its Annual Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas July 15. Winners for Federal Credit Union of the Year (less than $150 million in assets and over $150 million in assets) were American Partners FCU (Reidsville, N.C.) and America’s CU (Fort Lewis, Wash.). Professionals of the Year in the same asset categories were Joan Moran, Department of Labor FCU (Washington) and Joseph Melbourne, Central Florida Educators FCU (Orlando, Fla.). Volunteers of the Year included William Terrell Posey, North Carolina Community FCU (Goldsboro, N.C.) and Max Giovannini, Security Service FCU (San Antonio). Marketing Award winners included: Best Annual Report: MarketUSA FCU (Laurel, Md.) and Keesler FCU (Biloxi, Miss.) Best Promotional Campaign: North Carolina Community FCU (Goldsboro, N.C.) and South Carolina FCU (North Charleston, S.C.) Best Lending Promotion: Marriott Employees FCU (Bethesda, Md.) and Greater TEXAS FCU (Austin, Texas) Best Membership Promotion: SECNY FCU (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Clearview FCU (Moon Township, Pa.) Best Member Newsletter: WEPCO FCU (Bloomington, Md.) and Capital Communications FCU (Albany, N.Y.) Best Product or Service Promotion: AmeriChoice FCU (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) and Arkansas FCU (Jacksonville, Ark.) Best Web Site: Technicolor FCU (Burbank, Calif.) and United States Senate FCU (Alexandria, Va.)
