BEDFORD, N.H. – After building a client base that stretches from Thailand to Saudi Arabia to Ireland, Kiva Group Inc. is introducing its new teller/MRM management platform back home in the United States. Respect Unified Teller 3.0 works with a range of host systems and network architectures and offers member relationship management tools such as sales lead capture, product referral information and contact history to the teller at the window, says Michael D. Baker, president of Kiva Group (www.kivagroup.com). Baker says the Respect Unified Teller platforms already are in place in about 30 institutions overseas, and that the company's MRM platform itself is in use in several credit unions in the U.S., including $1.1 billion Washington State Employees CU. Among the upgrades in the new teller platform are support for Linux systems and a dynamic GUI (graphical user interface) that enables tellers to help build transaction and contact histories on a personalized basis, Baker says. "We're not suggesting that tellers should become member service representatives," Baker says, "but since they have more personal contact with members than most other staff positions, doesn't it make sense for them to play an active role in MRM initiatives?"
