WASHINGTON – Six Washington-area credit unions have launched a new CUSO that offers turnkey business continuity planning to other regional credit unions. Called Ongoing Operations LLC, the CUSO says it plans to open a facility later this year that will offer a remote phone center, data center and customizable workspace designed to allow a credit union to replicate its normal work environment to get back up and running quickly in case of a disaster or other service disruption. The founding credit unions are National Institutes of Health FCU, Northwest FCU, Synergy One FCU, Department of Labor FCU, Transportation FCU and HEW FCU.
