PHOENIX – Desert Schools Federal Credit Union helped raise $70,000 during the seventh annual Children's Miracle Network Charity Golf Tournament. Funds raised will support the Phoenix Children's Hospital's "One Darn Cool School," a program to fund in-hospital classes for kids in grades K-12. One of the event highlights was a speech made by a former Phoenix Children's Hospital patient, now in his early twenties, who remarked on how the "One Darn Cool School" program enriched his life.
