PHOENIX – Desert Schools Federal Credit Union helped raise $70,000 during the seventh annual Children’s Miracle Network Charity Golf Tournament. Funds raised will support the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s “One Darn Cool School,” a program to fund in-hospital classes for kids in grades K-12. One of the event highlights was a speech made by a former Phoenix Children’s Hospital patient, now in his early twenties, who remarked on how the “One Darn Cool School” program enriched his life. Generous title sponsors of the fundraiser includes the following: Arizona Cardinals; Phoenix Coyotes; Allied Solutions; Calence; EMC2; Financial Supermarkets, Inc.; MBNA; NEC; Corillian; Vignette and Qwest.
