VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – Browser-based teller and lending solutions, do-it-yourself credit cards and secure messaging were among the topics at USERS Inc.'s Spring User Group Meeting at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The April 21-22 meeting attracted several hundred attendees who got a look at the latest and what's coming up next from the Fiserv core processing unit, which serves more than 250 credit unions. Highlights included new enhancements to the browser-based Teller and Lending Navigator solutions now used by more than 150 credit unions, as well as a look at new software products set for release soon, including Instant Plastics (for credit unions to issue cards to members on the spot) and secure messaging for encrypted, online communications with members. "The User Group Meeting plays an important role in USERS' ongoing dialogue and long-term partnership with our clients," said John Schooler, president of USERS. "It's one of many opportunities to gather the input so vital to our future product plans, while sharing new ideas that can help our clients maximize their use of technology." USERS' next client conference is EdCon 2005, set for Sept. 20-22 in Las Vegas.
