HENDERSON, Nev. – Clark County Credit Union will be among the first occupants of a downtown office space it has agreed to provide $7 million in financing. The $340 million credit union will finance Water Street South, a two-story, 30,000-square-foot building, which is the first on several redevelopment projects for the downtown Henderson. CCCU will also occupy 4,500 square feet of the new building to expand one of its branches. Spearheaded by the Henderson Redevelopment Agency, which contributed $1.7 million, the building will also be occupied by Nevada State College and is already 50% pre-leased, according to the builders. CCCU’s role comes during the recent launching of its small business services including becoming a SBA lender. According to the U.S. Census, Clark County in Las Vegas, is ranked among the nation’s 10 fastest growing counties with populations over one million residents.
