ST. LOUIS-NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz announced that over 260 credit union officials from 35 states are traveling to St. Louis to attend the April 28 Partnering and Leadership Successes workshop. Nine panelists will participate in the 10th PALS forum focused on reaching "New Markets, New Members, and New Business." "This Spring PALS workshop is an opportunity for credit unions to learn about successful approaches to serve markets where there is little competition from other insured financial institutions," Matz explained. "Officials from credit unions large and small, with federal and state charters, will participate in this workshop. I hope that all participants will be inspired to adopt new initiatives that will increase their membership and lending business." Attendees will also have plenty of networking and idea sharing opportunities during breakfast and lunch. "This is what PALS is all about," Matz concluded.
