MADISON, Wis. – CUNA Mutual Group President and CEO Jeff Post is starting to make some changes to the executive ranks, something he said would likely happen after evaluating the management structure of CUNA Mutual. Upon coming aboard, Post said he was surprised by how many SVPs there were at the company, but after that the next stop was the CEO's office. He said he wanted to bring another layer to management so not all decisions have to be made from his office. The company announced that David Lundgren will fill the newly created position of EVP/Chief Administrative Officer. Post is familiar with Lundgren from his days as CEO of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in San Francisco. Lundgren served under Post in a similar position that he was named to with CUNA Mutual. Lundgren will be responsible for CUNA Mutual's IT, project services, human resources, corporate communications and public relations functions. Post also named Jeff Holley EVP/Chief Financial Officer. Previously Holley, who has been with CUNA Mutual since 1994, was serving as just CFO. Holley also was the acting CEO at CUNA Mutual while the company searched for its new CEO after Mike Kitchen left. Holley will now be responsible for Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, as well as financial operations of the company.
