LUTHERVILLE, Md. – First Financial Federal Credit Union has recently donated over $75,000 to Baltimore and Carroll County Public School systems for child health care services. The donation will help students who are underinsured or have no health insurance, pay for doctor's appointments, dental problems, medication and transportation to and from appointments. The funds will also be used to purchase health equipment for schools in need. "We work very closely with our school systems to identify the areas of greatest need. As their financial and community partner, we welcome the opportunity to support their efforts to ensure children receive quality health care," said First Financial FCU CEO Rob Windsor. Funds were collected through the credit union's Visa credit card program and the KidsFirst Fund, where a percentage of all member purchases is donated to benefit children. Since the program's inception in 1989, First Financial FCU has donated more than $1.2 million to benefit children in need.
