BETHESDA, Md. – State credit union leagues in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware have signed agreements that will allow their member credit unions to sign up more easily with Allpoint, the ATM network which charges credit unions a flat fee to provide free ATM access to their cardholders. The deal was made between Allpoint and the leagues' shared CUSO, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Services Corp. The deal means that credit unions that are members of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, Maryland Credit Union League and Delaware Credit Union League will be able to join Allpoint under more favorable terms than they might have been able to otherwise. Joining Allpoint will give the credit union members surcharge-free access to 32,000 ATMs nationwide, according to the network and 1,500 machines in Pennsylvania, 875 in Maryland and 180 in Delaware. "This partnership is a testament to the tremendous value state leagues continually provide their member credit unions," said Ben Psillas, President of Allpoint Network."By all three leagues joining forces to partner with Allpoint, league members not only receive unparalleled nationwide surcharge-free access, but also significant cost savings."
