I read with great interest your item on the inaccurate tsunami photos in your February 16 edition. You obviously did not have to take ownership for the mistake, since they were provided by a trusted source. But your willingness to do so spoke volumes about your diligence in safeguarding the reputation of your publication. I firmly believe that a good reputation is more easily lost than gained. You and your publication deserve high praise for your willingness to do the right thing – and unwillingness to take any chances on losing credibility with your readers.
