SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Arrowhead CU has created a new position of Vice President-Community Development and named Jerilyn Simpson to the spot. Simpson has more than 19 years experience working with the San Bernardino CU. She was the founder and past CEO of San Bernardino Communities Against Drugs Inc., one of the longest established non-profit community-based drug prevention organizations in the U.S. Her accomplishments in the Inland Empire have led to invited positions at the state and national levels where she was appointed to the Steering Committee of President George H. Bush's Drug Advisory Council, making her one of only six people selected in the U.S. to serve on the committee. Simpson has also received numerous awards for her contributions and commitment to the San Bernardino community. Simpson will report directly to Arrowhead CU President/CEO Larry Sharp.
